Republican politicians live in fear of being called a RINO. And They should.
RINO - Republican in Name Only.
RINOs are politicians who have been voted into office by the people based on campaign platforms promising to uphold conservative principles. Once voted into office, these Republican candidates betray their constituents by exposing themselves as democratic operatives cloaked as conservatives. These politicians neglect their duty to represent the party and the will of the people who elected them to represent them. Often these political leaders betray the trust and the responsibility of their office for personal gain as well.
There is a false belief that being a RINO means you lack loyalty to President Trump. But it is much more than that. RINO is a policy-based epithet. Being a RINO means you lack loyalty to your constituents, many of who supported President Trump and his America First agenda. RINOs do not align with the conservative principles, policies, and values of the Republican party or the voters who chose them as their representative.
RINOs and Rhinos in the wild
RINOs named after a mammal in the wild have many things in common. Rhinos are majestic, powerful creatures. They are also one of the most aggressive. But despite its reputation as the bully on the playground, rhinos are vulnerable as they are not particularly intelligent animals. There is a false belief that rhinos have no known predators in the wild. Elephants are natural predators of rhinos in the wild.
Just like Republicans and RINOs, elephants and rhinos have some animosity towards each other. Rhinos are stubborn creatures (as are the elephants sometimes) and are not always willing to cooperate. They don't always agree that elephants are the top mammals in the pecking order. Perhaps it due to competition for resources.
Elephants quite commonly kill rhinos.
Republican politicians live in fear of being called a RINO. And They should
Clashes between the Republican Party and RINOs throughout history are relatively common. Political RINOs have acted fearlessly in the betrayal of their constituents and, up until recently, with impunity. But things are rapidly changing after the 2020 elections riddled with voting irregularities and a lack of election and mainstream media integrity. There is less patience for RINO behavior. RINO's are receiving widespread negative attention on various social media outlets.
While Members of the Republican GOP are taking a stand to vote RINOs out of their leadership positions, the people are taking back their rightful power. Republican voters who have grown intolerant of the RINOs in their party target RINOs to have them replaced in their states' Primary Elections with America First candidates who will more fairly represent them.
More now than ever, it will be up to the voters to decide if they want a leader whose character and principles represent them or do they want a leader that thinks solely for themselves and do what's in their own best interests, disregarding their voters.
What is the RINO Project?
The RINO Project is a campaign to hold RINO politicians accountable. We will not stand by while they betray their constituents and this country by failing to uphold our constitutional rights. We are running a campaign to oppose them and support their challengers who have committed to support the free market, liberty-focused policy.
